Toolkit For Businesses And Employees To Learn About The Earned Income Tax Credit

Public Private Strategies Institute released an easy-to-understand toolkit for businesses to help their employees claim the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC). The IRS estimates that 1 out of 5 eligible taxpayers do not take advantage of this powerful program that boosts the economy, benefits small businesses, and puts more money back in people’s pockets. This toolkit is available on the Public Private Strategies Institute website in English and Spanish.

This toolkit is designed to help business owners better understand the program and support and educate their employees about accessing this crucial tax credit. It includes basic education on the EITC, tools for business owners to promote the EITC in the workplace, and information on how to apply for both employees and gig workers.
